ICAR-KVK-Alappuzha organized Agricultural Seminar at Kalavoor
On the occasion of the launching of KVK activities (2016-17), a seminar cum interface on “Organic management of Pests and Diseases of Crops” was organized at Kalavoor on 30.07.2016. Dr.C.A.Jayaprakash, Principal Scientist and Head, Division of Plant Protection, ICAR-Central Tuber Crops Research Institute, Thiruvananthapuram, Smt. G. Lekha (SMS, Plant Pathology) and Sri. T. Sivakumar (SMS, Agrl. Entomology) of KVK-Alappuzha handled different sessions on bio control of pests and diseases of crops and interacted with the farmers. Dr.P.Muralidharan, Head, KVK moderated the seminar. About 200 farmers from Mannancherry, Mararikulam South and Aryad Grama panchayaths attended the programme.
