Mr. Balayyan, started the unit in 2011 as a registered farmer group under Coconut Producers Society, Anthiyoor. It produces coconut products like VCO, left over coconut kernel products, and coconut water soft drink. The KVK provided training and follow up services like unit visit and prepared project proposal for availing credit. It also facilitated by linking them with machinery suppliers, packing material suppliers and marketing channels. The unit is performing well now employing many women.
